Key Job Duties
- Transport fire apparatus and ambulances safely between service centers, customer locations, and delivery points
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe for operation
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Maintain communication with management regarding schedules and delivery status
- Ensure vehicles are delivered in clean, safe, and operational condition
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with tanker endorsement
- Current DOT medical card
- Safe driving record and strong attention to safety
- Able to work on an on-call basis with flexible availability
- Able to operate large emergency vehicles safely and responsibly
Work Environment
- Extended periods of driving
- Climbing in and out of large vehicles
- Exposure to road conditions, weather, and typical outdoor environments
