CDL Driver - Local Loading Unloading

About the role

Koenig Concrete Corp, located in Jefferson, Wisconsin, is seeking a full‑time CDL driver to support construction projects. The position offers a regular schedule with a 5:30 a.m. start and being home each afternoon; when driving duties are not required, shop work will supplement hours.

Job Summary: This role assists the foreman in the field by delivering, ordering, or moving the necessary equipment and tools for contracted projects.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment for self and crew.
• Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
• Coordinate with the shop mechanic on necessary preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Organize and coordinate with the Field Supervisor on daily material needs.
• Work with the AP/AR Manager and Operations Manager on purchases and budgets.
• Assist in the field as needed.
• Keep the shop area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements (DOT)

• Comply with DOT regulations through administrative actions or training.
• Ensure trucks have proper registrations.
• Maintain required DOT logs for maintenance and accidents.

Qualifications and Skills

• CDL Class A license required.
• Proficient use of various construction tools (saws, hammers, nails, bolts, form hardware, etc.).
• Ability to follow directives.
• Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing factors.

Schedule

Full‑time position with a 5:30 a.m. start time; employees are home each afternoon. When driving is not required, shop work supplements the scheduled hours.
