About the role

Local Intermodal Truck Driver position based in Dallas, TX with terminal in Ferris, TX. Home‑daily, Monday–Friday schedule starting at 6:00 AM, no overnight runs. Operates automatic trucks on no‑touch intermodal container freight (drop and hook) within a year‑round intermodal network, earning approximately $1,200 per week ($27/hour).

Responsibilities

• Run local intermodal container routes in the Dallas market
• Move freight between rail yards and customer locations (drayage driving)
• Complete container and chassis inspections
• Handle drop and hook freight
• Work within an established intermodal trucking network
• Represent the company with safe, professional driving practices

Requirements

• 12 months of Class A tractor‑trailer experience (within the last 3 years)
• 12 months of intermodal rail experience (within the last 5 years)
• Clean MVR and solid accident history preferred
• Ability to haul overweight containers (permits provided)
• No Clearinghouse violations
• Strong reliability and consistent work history
• Preferred background as intermodal, drayage, rail yard, or container driver in the Dallas area

Pay

Approximately $1,200 per week ($27 per hour).

Schedule

Home‑daily, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM start; no overnight routes.
