CDL Driver - Heavy Haul Winch & Slick

About the role

Operate a heavy truck equipped with a winch, transporting oversized and overweight loads. Must be highly skilled in securing loads and working with skidded equipment, such as skidded housing. Drivers will use only permitted routes.

Responsibilities

• Pull various loads to and from well site drilling and production locations
• Transport oversized loads such as forklifts, man lifts, and other oversized equipment
• Follow DOT requirements and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements, including:
  • Completing daily Job Safety Analysis
  • Pre/post-trip inspection reports
  • Near miss and hazard reports
• Keep accurate and timely driving logs in accordance with the electronic log system
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment assessments
• Ensure proper maintenance of truck and equipment to meet working and safety requirements

Requirements

• Age 21 or above
• Valid DoT medical card
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement
• Valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record that meets fleet insurance requirements (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years)
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screen and drug/alcohol tests
• Experience driving a manual transmission (up to 18 speed)
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions
• Minimum of 2 years CDL experience

Training on winch equipment will be provided.
