As an ExxonMobil Lubricant Distributor with locations in Decatur, Fairfield, Cape Girardeau, and Valparaiso, we offer a home-every-night CDL Driver position based in Fairfield, IL.
This role involves transporting and delivering petroleum products to customers while adhering to commercial driving regulations. Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of bulk lubricants and package products locally and out-of-town, including selecting, handling, and loading/unloading products of various sizes and weights.
Responsibilities
- Perform Pre-Trip DOT truck inspections; inspect trucks for defects and safe operating conditions before, during, and after trips. Report defects to the Supervisor.
- Drive tank, hybrid, or box trucks to deliver bulk and packaged lubricants to customers locally and out-of-town.
- Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuver vehicles in difficult situations (e.g., heavy traffic, inclement weather, tight areas).
- Read gauges or meters and record the quantity loaded.
- Record amounts delivered on an I-Pad and obtain customer signatures.
- Move package products by hand or using mechanical means (e.g., handcarts, pallet jacks, fork trucks).
- Transfer products from package containers to customer tanks/drums.
- Load package products safely onto trucks/trailers.
- Assist shipping and receiving; unload trucks and check in product corresponding to Bills of Lading (BOLs).
- Read customer work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
- Mark materials with identifying information on row cards.
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed on work orders and BOLs.
- Operate fork trucks, electric pallet jacks, and shrink wrap machines safely.
- Assist in counting physical inventory.
- Provide coverage for warehouse personnel during vacations, sick leave, or other absences.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid CDL License (Class A/B).
- DOT Hazmat/Tanker Endorsement.

Schedule
Core hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required based on load volume or customer emergencies.
Pay
$25.00–$28.00 per hour.
