About the role

We are seeking a customer-oriented CDL Driver to ensure the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies, materials, and parts. This role also includes assisting with general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck(s) with great care, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety protocols.
• Deliver products of varying sizes to different sites while adhering to driver manifest and documentation procedures.
• Provide associates with solutions or appropriate contact information when problems arise; report customer opportunities and issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Load and unload materials from the truck accurately, efficiently, and safely, using proper body mechanics and equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check in deliveries, pickups, and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut safely using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain warehouse tidiness and safety by sweeping floors, removing trash, and ensuring a clean workspace.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders ranging from small boxes to pallets.
• Record losses of damaged or defective materials.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and ability to pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer sites, including heavy and bulky items.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, power tools, push carts, and rolling ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving and computer skills.
