CDL Delivery Driver/Service Specialist - Obetz, OH
About the role
The Service Specialist (CDL Delivery Driver) at Vantive is responsible for safely operating an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle while delivering dialysis products to a diverse home patient base, as well as, kidney dialysis centers. Home patient visits include delivering dialysis solution, rotating stock, and ensuring order accuracy with occasional order pick-ups and returns. The schedule is a 4-day work week with 1-2 overnight shifts and weekends off.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate an 18 to 24-foot commercial vehicle
- Deliver dialysis products to home patients and kidney dialysis centers
- Rotate stock and ensure order accuracy during home patient visits
- Occasionally perform order pick-ups and returns
- Operate material handling equipment such as lift gates, ramps, pallet jacks, walkie riders, and Liftkars
- Facilitate communication and work effectively in diverse, multi-functional teams
- Maintain driver HOS log using an ELD
- Complete multiple day routes that include some overnight travel
- Comply with all safety rules for equipment use and driving outlined by Vantive and DOT
Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Air Brake endorsement
- Valid Medical Card
- At least 1 year of driving comparable equipment with inside delivery experience preferred
- Ability to maintain driver HOS log using Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
- Pass Industrial Capabilities Test
- Ability to distinguish colors to identify product labels
Qualifications
- Physical demands: Repetitive lifting and moving of cases weighing up to 50 pounds, frequent entering and exiting of vehicle, frequent bending, crouching, twisting, reaching, grasping, climbing, and balancing, frequent kneeling, squatting, and wrist turning
- Work environment: Working environment encompasses all areas of a distribution center, tractor trailer, patient homes, and dialysis centers
- Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong social skills, ability to facilitate and work effectively in diverse, multi-functional teams, ability to follow all safety rules for equipment use and driving outlined by Vantive and DOT

Pay
The estimated base salary for this position is $51,200 to $70,400 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
Schedule
A 4-day work week with 1-2 overnight shifts and weekends off.
