About the role
As a CDL Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers. You’ll conduct local deliveries, build strong customer relationships, and ensure safe, efficient operations. Each day begins with a pre-trip vehicle inspection, followed by loading materials and making deliveries. You’ll be the face of our company, providing excellent service and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
- Transport and deliver products to customers with care
- Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
- Fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks, or dollies
- Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL license
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift packages up to 85 pounds
- Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (training provided)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
- 1 year of related experience and/or training
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- 4:00 AM start time
- Local deliveries—return home each night
Pay
$24.00–$29.00 per hour
