CDL Crane Operator (Fort Collins, CO)

Duties And Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines ensuring the right selection and set up is made regarding crane, lift or hoist
• Inspects and assesses ground conditions as well as any possible overhead obstructions
• Maintain equipment through daily inspections, to include performance of routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Maintain logs and records of operational activities
• Maintains visual and radio communications with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations, and responds to questions and instructions clearly and quickly
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes
• Class A CDL - Required
• Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements
• Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime, when necessary
• Maintain a current NCCCO Crane Operators License for qualified equipment
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, materials or instructions
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records
• Able to work well within a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Strong depth perception and quick reaction time
• Able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly
• Able to sit for long periods of time
• Able to work in a variety of weather including extreme heat and cold

Pay Range

Hourly Compensation - $30.00 - $42.00 DOE
