Pay
$30.00 per hour
Schedule
Day Shift, Full-time Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
- Review load sheet and load for the day’s deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the equipment
- Report any issues to Supervisor
- Fuel the vehicle and authorize fuel bill
- Transport materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Observe all DOT regulations, rules of the road, and defensive driving techniques
- Locate customer’s business/residence and confer with client as to where to unload materials
- Safely unload materials, check quality, review packing slip with customer, and secure customer signature
- Deal with customers in a courteous and professional fashion and accommodate customers’ requests whenever possible
- Pick up materials from vendors, and check and verify quality and quantity of materials before receipt
- Return to plant and unload vehicle
- Rotate functions with the department as needed and assigned by Supervisor
