CDL Class A Oilfield Winch Truck Driver | Heavy Haul & Fluid Services

About the role

Join EnerStar Solutions as a CDL Class A driver supporting critical oilfield operations in the Powder River Basin. You will haul fluids, transport heavy equipment, assist with rig moves, winch operations, and provide operational support during slower periods, all while working with a team that values safety, professional development, and internal promotion.

Responsibilities

• Transport heavy equipment, aggregates, and field assets to customer locations
• Move equipment between EnerStar branches and worksites
• Ensure loads are safely secured and transported
• Complete delivery documentation and required paperwork
• Haul fresh water, grey water, black water, and other fluids
• Operate water trucks and sewer trucks
• Transport and relocate fluid handling equipment
• Assist with customer service and field support activities
• Safely operate winch trucks and related equipment
• Assist with rig moves and equipment mobilization projects
• Support loading, unloading, and positioning of equipment
• Work closely with field crews during operational projects
• During slow driving periods, assist with rig moves and equipment setups
• Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
• Clean, prepare, and stage rental equipment
• Assist with yard organization and housekeeping
• Support equipment mobilizations and demobilizations
• Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on trucks, trailers, tanks, and rental equipment
• Support field service activities and customer projects as assigned
• Follow all DOT regulations and EnerStar safety requirements
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate DOT records and logbooks
• Wear required PPE and follow site-specific safety requirements
• Promote EnerStar's commitment to safety and environmental stewardship

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
• Ability to work independently in remote environments
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willing and able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Willing and able to climb, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
• Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willing and able to work days, nights, weekends, and on-call schedules
• Willing and able to travel and stay overnight when business needs require
• Must be 21+ years old to drive a commercial vehicle
• Disqualifying factors: DUI, DWI, OUI, or refusal to submit to a substance test; reckless driving convictions; hit-and-run convictions; eluding police; drag racing violations; driving on a suspended or revoked license; two or more at-fault accidents within the past three years; three or more moving violations within the past three years

Qualifications

• Previous winch truck experience (preferred)
• Experience supporting rig moves (preferred)
• Oilfield trucking experience (preferred)
• Water hauling or fluid hauling experience (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills (preferred)

Pay

• Starting Pay: $28.00 per hour
• Additional Hourly Premiums Available: Sewer work premium, Winch work premium
