Local, temp-to-hire opportunity for CDL Class A drivers in Kennesaw, Georgia. Automatic transmission; light-touch freight.
Pay & Schedule
- $25.24 per hour
- Overtime available after 40 hours
- Dispatch: Sunday night
- Start time: 12 a.m. (midnight, may vary by route)
- End of week: Friday morning or afternoon (depending on route)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate automatic Class A tractor-trailers
- Deliver medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and healthcare facilities
- Assist with loading when needed (warehouse personnel typically load)
- Unload freight using an electric or manual pallet jack
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and DOT documentation
- Provide safe, professional, and courteous customer service at every stop
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable straight truck experience
- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
