The primary focus of a CDL Bus Driver/Instructor Assistant STEAM Children's Enrichment will be to maintain the Discovery Center activities. CDL Bus Driver/Instructor Assistant STEAM Children's Enrichment are asked to promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills of students by supporting the Instructor in the classroom. Programs are conducted for children ages 2-14, although not all assistant instructors are required to work with all age groups. This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology Instructors & leadership as well as representing the Snapology organization to parents & children with a high degree of professionalism. Responsibilities
- Greet parents and children
- Drive our Mobile STEAM Lab (2002 Bluebird 40') to locations all over Nassau County
- Clean Mobile STEAM Lab after Shifts
- Monitor children in the use of learning materials and equipment
- Aid in the Management of student behavior
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Snapology
- Organize Snapology program materials
- Complete special assignments as indicated by Snapology leadership
- Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs
