CDL B - Truck Driver

About the role

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for their Decatur, IL location. The ideal candidate must have either a CDL Class A or CDL Class B license with an Air Brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to job sites
• Physically unload materials per customer's request
• Receive materials in the warehouse
• Load trucks according to weight limits
• Process inventory

Requirements

• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
• Clean driving record
• DOT medical card
• Background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license
• Crane, air brakes, and knuckleboom experience desired, but willing to train
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day
• Some lifting over 100 lbs. may be required
