CDL B Truck Driver
About the role
Mickey Truck Bodies is a premier manufacturer of state-of-the-art bodies and trailers, and specially engineered vehicles sold in over 50 countries around the world. The innovative product line-up is prevalent in industries such as food & beverage, vending, propane, rental trucks, emergency & rescue, battery, oil & natural gas, and data storage. The company operates in 4 states with over 400 Mickey employees at these locations. This role is ideal for experienced drivers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver supreme internal and external customer service
- Read and interpret data (work orders)
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Maintain CDL – B or CDL – A certifications
- Drive short/long distances
- Back up, drive, and maneuver units in tight areas
- Climb in and out of units often
Qualifications
- Unexpired CDL B – certification for straight trucks
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience – meets Mickey Driver Policy Guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Able to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Frequent climbing
- Constantly sitting/driving for long periods of time
- Sometimes lift up to 30 lbs
- Occasionally walk, stand, bend, squat, push, pull, crawl, and kneel

Schedule
Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 5pm, Friday OT as needed 6:30am to 3pm
