CDL Truck Driver

Today, Preston has grown to employ a team of more than 150 refrigeration specialists, providing self-performed design, build, and maintenance services across the U.S. About The Role The Transportation Driver ensures a safe and timely manner of all items being delivered to the customer. Works with other personnel of Preston Refrigeration as a team to plan and route all deliveries. What You'll Do Drive company delivery vehicle to deliver construction goods to jobsites across the U.S.Load and unload cargo, keep record of cargo deliveries.Refuel and clean vehicles when needed.Follow traffic laws and report any traffic violations to management immediately.Comply with DOT regulations and maintain E-log and log hours.Follow accident procedures and report all road incidents.Inspect truck and trailer prior to departure and report any mechanical issues.Adheres to Preston Refrigeration guidelines for expense reporting and submits to AP team in a timely manner.Willingness to travel as needed throughout the continental US.Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude.Assist around warehouse as needed during delivery downtimeOther duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training.Ability to maintain a Class A commercial driver license.Must have clean MVR.Must be able to pass drug test.Must be able to travel out-of-state. Strong time management and customer service skills.Ability to travel 90% of the time with overnight stays when required.Ability to lift and carry heavy items, drive and sit for extended periods of time. The Pay Range For This Role Is 22 - 27 USD per hour(KC Office)
