CDL B Driver - Local Deliveries- Electrical Distribution

About the role

NorthEast Electrical is seeking a full‑time, Local Route CDL B Driver to join our team in Providence, RI. As a NorthEast Electrical Driver for the Providence location, you will be the face of the company driving a company‑provided truck to transport materials to our valued customers. You’ll operate company equipment safely, ensure product is in perfect condition, and support the warehouse team with loading, unloading, and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintain vehicle in proper working condition – conduct daily inspections as stated in established policies and procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, move material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• May assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past five years
• Ability to meet DOT requirements
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Rhode Island Hoisting License preferred

$26 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:30 am start (full‑time)
