CDL-A Western Regional Driver | Long Hauls | Trainees Welcome

About the role

West Metro OKC drivers operate open‑road miles west of the Mississippi, handling long hauls with no East Coast traffic. New CDL‑A holders are welcome, working Western lanes, drop‑and‑hook and live freight, and typically home every two to three weeks.

Responsibilities

• Operate long‑haul routes west of the Mississippi
• Perform drop‑and‑hook and live freight operations
• Follow planned loads and communicate with driver leader for any road issues
• Maintain safe driving practices

Requirements

• Age 21 or older
• Valid Class A CDL
• Pass a DOT physical and hair/urine drug test
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years

Qualifications

• New drivers: at least 120 hours from a CDL school
• Experienced drivers: 6 months of recent driving experience (if less than 120 school hours)
• Class A CDL required

Pay

• Paid $800 per week during training
• Guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months solo
• $1,100–$1,200 per week once solo
• $15 per stop (except first and last stop)

Schedule

• Home every two to three weeks
• 2,100–2,400 miles per week
• Orientation: up to 2 days
• Training: 4–6 weeks one‑on‑one with a mentor
