CDL-A Truck Driver | OTR | Tulare, CA
About the role
Knight Transportation is seeking experienced and new truck drivers for various CDL A Over The Road routes. The company offers flexible schedules including 7-10 out, 12-14 out, or 3 weeks out, ensuring drivers get the miles they need while also allowing them to get home when needed.
Responsibilities
- Drive trucks on various OTR routes
- Ensure safety and adhere to all regulations
- Manage personal time effectively to balance work and personal life
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
- 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
- Pass a DOT physical and drug test
Qualifications
Drivers must be reliable, responsible, and possess excellent communication skills. They should also be able to work independently and manage their time effectively.
Skills
Strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle stress are essential. Proficiency with GPS systems and a positive attitude are also valued.
