CDL- A Truck Driver Linehaul
About the role
As a Linehaul Driver at R+L Carriers, you will be responsible for pulling van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.
Responsibilities
- Pull van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations
- Return home daily
- Operate equipment safely at all times
- Pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
- Complete a successful road test
- Bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
- Be dependable
- Preferred for drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
- Experience in hauling Haz-mat and pulling doubles is preferred
- Any LTL freight experience is a plus
Requirements
- CDL Class A
- 1 year combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
- Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years
- Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian
Qualifications
- Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
