Immediate opening for a solo Class A CDL Truck Driver in Stoneham, MA. Local shuttle route moving empty trailers between Ryder customer facilities—no freight handling, no touch.

Pay

  • Weekly pay: $1,120 per week
  • Hourly pay: $28.00 per hour

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Home daily

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor-vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years)
  • Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
  • Hold a valid Class A CDL with required endorsements
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle:
    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with safety and DOT regulations
  • Complete continuous training and provide customer service
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines
  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
  • Perform other assigned tasks
