TransForce is seeking a CDL A Yard Switcher to support operations based in Huntsville, Alabama. The role is local, dedicated, with automatic transmission, no‑touch freight, and home‑daily scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate automatic truck on the yard
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

Requirements

• CDL A license
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience (switcher experience preferred)
• Clean motor vehicle record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Pay

$23.50 per hour (overtime after 40 hours) – up to approximately $1,100 per week.

Schedule

Monday – Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (home daily).
