About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Detroit, MI. This is a switching role handling no-touch, automotive-parts freight.
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $24 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
Schedule: Monday–Friday, some Saturdays; 8 hours guaranteed
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport automotive parts in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including securing loads
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
Requirements
- CDL A license
- 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Manual transmission endorsement
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
