CDL A - Regional Delivery Truck Driver (Start Mid-July)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform local deliveries to K-12 schools in Richmond, VA
• Drive newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks equipped with lift gates and both electric and manual pallet jacks
• Use a 2-wheel dolly for deliveries to locations without docks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain a clean and accident-free driving record
• Work Monday - Friday (occasional layover), Day Shift Start Times: 3am-6am until route is complete

Requirements

• Valid Class A Driver's License
• DOT Medical Certificate
• Motor Vehicle Record (10 years)
• Proficiency in driving a manual transmission
• TWIC card a plus

Qualifications

• Able to pass pre-employment drug, background screenings, and fingerprinting

Pay

Starting Pay rate: $26.50/hour with potential to move to $27.00/hour after 90 days

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday (occasional layover), Day Shift Start Times: 3am-6am until route is complete

Average: 45-55 hours in a 5-day work week
