CDL-A OTR Driver | No-Touch Freight | Home Every 2 Weeks - Trainees OK

About the role

Portland-area Class A drivers: no-touch OTR miles across the western states, home every two weeks, and a paid seat built for new grads. This position is made for drivers just starting out. The freight is no‑touch, so you’re not wrestling loads while you learn the job. You run the western states and come home every two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Handle no‑touch freight (no loading or unloading)
• Run OTR lanes across the western states
• Stay out about two weeks, then home for your reset (home every two weeks)
• Follow planned loads
• Work with 24/7 dispatch
• Complete paid one‑on‑one mentor training before going solo
• Earn full solo mileage pay the day you finish training
• Operate an assigned take‑home truck (automatic or 10‑speed, about 1.5 years old)
• Receive weekly pay via direct deposit

Requirements

• Class A CDL in your home state
• 21 years of age or older
• Recent CDL‑school graduate (120+ hours) welcome
• Acceptable driving record – no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
• Pass DOT physical, hair and urine screen

Pay

About $1,500 per week (roughly $78,000 per year) – $0.50 per mile, about 2,000 miles per week, $15 per stop. Paid weekly via direct deposit.

Schedule

Out approximately two weeks, then home for your reset – effectively home every two weeks while running OTR lanes across the western states.
