CDL A Hazmat Driver
Job Summary
We are hiring a CDL A Hazmat Driver in Dayton, OH for our bulk cryo logistics operations. The position requires driving commercial motor vehicles (tractor-trailer combinations) to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases safely, accurately, and courteously.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Commercial Motor Vehicles (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites.
- Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed.
- Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor.
- Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
- Tanker - Hauling Liquid Nitrogen and Oxygen
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 3+ years experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles
- Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
- High school diploma or equivalent, two years technical college or military technical experience preferred
- Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience preferred
