CDL A Driver Hazmat

About the role

As a CDL A Driver Hazmat, you will operate a tractor‑trailer to transport and off‑load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites, ensuring safe, timely, accurate, and courteous delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial motor vehicle (tractor‑trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off‑load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to identify maintenance needs and act appropriately.
• Report accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints (including service interruptions) immediately to your supervisor.
• Complete and submit required DOT and Airgas company reports.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• 3+ years of experience driving tractor‑trailer vehicles.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, two years technical college, or military technical experience.
• Ideally three years of Haz‑Mat or Tanker experience.
• Familiarity with or a desire to learn about cryogenic, compressed, and specialty gases.

Pay

• Ability to earn $110,000+ per year.
• Quarterly incentive bonus of $2,000.
• Unlimited driver referral bonus.

Schedule

• Nights and weekends required.
• Occasional lay‑over: 2‑3 consecutive off days per week.
• Two consecutive days off during the week.
