CDL A Driver Hazmat

About the role

Airgas is Hiring for a CDL A Bulk Driver in Gilberts, IL. Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Tankers - Hauling Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

Responsibilities

• Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed
• Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor
• Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 3+ year experience as driver of tractor - trailer vehicles
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience
• Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience

Pay

• Availability to earn up to $100-120K+ annually
• Quarterly Incentive Bonus

Schedule

Nights & Weekends (12-14 hours)
