CDL A Flatbed Driver - No Touch - $27 Per Hour

Local CDL A flatbed driver position based in Baker, WV. Monday–Friday schedule (1st shift) with some Saturdays; home daily.

About the role

• Steady local work transporting bags of mulch, fertilizer, lawn conditioner, etc.
• No-touch freight; handling consists of strapping loads on flatbed trailers.
• Automatic transmission tractor-trailer.

Pay

$27 per hour, with estimated weekly pay of $1,200–$1,300.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A flatbed on local routes.
• Transport lawn-care materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform strapping and unstrapping of loads.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations.
• Meet the physical demands of the role (lifting, climbing, strapping, etc.).

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
