Local, temp-to-hire CDL A flatbed position based in Strongsville, OH.
About the role
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM start, 8–10 hours per day
- Pay: $31 per hour, overtime after 40 hours
- Route: local deliveries to OH, PA, MI, IN, and KY
- Freight: metal loads on automatic straight trucks, flatbeds, tractor-trailers, and pickup trucks
- Handling: light touch
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport goods in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, verifiable flatbed experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
