CDL A Driver - TWIC - $30/hr

About the Position

Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Route type: Local. Assignment: Temp‑to‑Hire. Transmission: Automatic. Experience required: 1+ year. Handling: No‑touch freight. TWIC card required.

Our client is seeking local CDL A drivers for a consistent route between the Boston port and Taftville, Connecticut. This position covers routes throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and features no‑touch freight. Automatic‑only drivers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete two round trips each day between the Boston port and Taftville, Connecticut.
• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle on local routes across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
• Transport furniture in 40‑foot ocean containers.
• Perform no‑touch freight operations while following all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Pay & Schedule

• $30 per hour (estimated weekly gross pay of $1,800).
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Start time between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
• Local work based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
• Temp‑to‑perm opportunity.
