CDL A Driver - $25/HR + OT

About the role

This local CDL A Driver role is based in Port Allen, Louisiana. Drivers work Monday through Friday and return home daily. This TransForce driving opportunity offers a consistent local assignment in Port Allen with a path from temporary to permanent employment. This role requires a DOT medical card and the ability to lift up to 85 pounds.

Pay & Schedule

• $25 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross: $1200
• Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Home daily in Port Allen, Louisiana
• Overtime after 40 hours

What You'll Be Doing

• Load, inspect, and safely secure cargo during transit
• Collect required signatures on shipping and receiving documents
• Complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel logs, daily logs, bills of lading, trip records, and expense reports
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance
• Follow all state and federal DOT regulations

Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• DOT medical card
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
