Local CDL A Driver - $25/hr OT after 40/hrs

About the role

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support Local operations based in Rock Hill, SC. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays
• Dispatch time ranges from 10am–1pm
• 40+ hours per week

Pay

$25/hr

Route & freight details

• Route Type: Local route deliveries in NC/SC
• Freight / Load Type: Mail
• Equipment: Tractor trailer, Automatic transmission
• Handling: Touch Freight – off load rolling carts and manual pallet jack
• 1–2 stops per route

Requirements

• License: CDL A
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor trailer on local routes
• Transport mail in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks using load rolling carts and pallet jack
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role
