CDL A Driver Hazmat
About the role
We are hiring a CDL A Driver Hazmat in Blytheville, AR. The position offers the potential to earn $90K+ annually and comes with a $2000 driver referral bonus (unlimited).
Responsibilities
- Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
- Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed.
- Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor.
- Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
- Drive tractor-trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.
- Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
- Complete required DOT and company reports.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 3+ years experience as driver of tractor - trailer vehicles
- Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years technical college or military technical experience
- Three (3) years of Haz-Mat or Tanker experience
- Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases, preferred
