CDL A Driver Hazmat
Job Summary

About the Role
Drive commercial motor vehicle (tractor-trailer) combinations to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if needed.
- Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to their supervisor immediately.
- Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
- Deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites using tractor-trailer.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.
- Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
- Complete required DOT and company reports.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 3+ years experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles.
- Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two years technical college or military technical experience.
- Three (3) years of Haz-Mat or Tanker experience.
- Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases.
