CDL A Driver Hazmat

Job Summary

About the Role

Drive commercial motor vehicle (tractor-trailer) combinations to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if needed.
• Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to their supervisor immediately.
• Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
• Deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites using tractor-trailer.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
• Complete required DOT and company reports.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 3+ years experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Two years technical college or military technical experience.
• Three (3) years of Haz-Mat or Tanker experience.
• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases.
