CDL A Driver Hazmat

About the role

We are hiring a CDL A Driver Hazmat in Boardman, OR for our bulk cryo logistics operations. The position offers a pay range of $90,000 - $105,000 annually, a quarterly incentive bonus, and a driver referral bonus.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial motor vehicle (Tractor-trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
• Perform pre & post trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed.
• Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to include service interruptions immediately to their supervisor.
• Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and/or Airgas company policy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and address maintenance needs.
• Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
• Complete required DOT and company reports.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 3+ years experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two years technical college or military technical experience
• Three (3) years of Haz-Mat or Tanker experience
• Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases
