CDL-A Delivery Driver (Regional Route) HIRING EVENT 09/02/26

About the Role
Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers ensure customers’ products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition, while serving as the face of our company and building lasting customer relationships.
The CDL-A Driver is responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive-and-drop routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products safely, on time, and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, answering questions accurately and promptly.
- Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip), including DOT-compliant inspections of tractor/truck and trailer; report safety issues or needed repairs.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines; immediately report safety hazards.
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight; perform count checks and verify customer invoices.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route schedules.
- Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks.
- Scan items, contact supervisor about removing orders per company policy, and verify deliveries with customer signatures.
- Collect money (cash or checks) where required; load customer returns onto the trailer and secure trailer doors.
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured at all times.
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete necessary paperwork, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Complete daily records of hours of service and enter logs in accordance with federal, state, and company requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
- Pass post-offer drug test, criminal background check, and road test.
- Valid/current DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.
- Able to hand-lift and use equipment (two-wheeler, lift gate, etc.) to move and stack product cases/freight ranging from 10–90 pounds throughout the shift.
Pay
Up to $90,000 yearly with bi-weekly pay.
Schedule
- Flexible schedules available.
- Must be available for overnight shifts.
- Home weekly.
- Typical routes are 3–4 day OTR runs.
