About the role

Join a dedicated team running flatbed freight for Nucor Steel, hauling from the Huger, SC facility to various customer destinations on consistent routes. The position offers home‑weekly time and a pay structure that rewards performance.

Responsibilities

• Hauling flatbed freight from Nucor Steel in Huger, SC to customer destinations
• Managing return trips using backhaul and deadhead combinations
• Receiving ongoing support to move from delivery locations back to the Nucor facility
• Maintaining safe and compliant operation of the tractor‑trailer

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of CDL‑A truck driving experience (required)
• Valid CDL‑A license (required)
• At least 6 months of commercial Class A driving experience (required)
• No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions in the past five years
• No drug‑related criminal activity in the past five years
• No drug or alcohol activity in a commercial motor vehicle

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of flatbed experience within the last three years (preferred)
• Military background encouraged
• No degree required
