- Up to $0.69/mile (practical miles)
- $0.45/mile (home empty miles)
- Extra pay opportunities:
- Short load premium (0–200 miles, practical miles): $50 per pick, $50 per drop, plus mileage
- $25 per drop (standard)
- $250 per weekend layover
- Hourly pay for detention and breakdown: starting rate of $28.02/hour, $30.51 after 6 months
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
- 2 weeks paid vacation to start (prorated in first year)

Responsibilities
- Haul steel and industrial products across regional routes
- Secure loads with straps and chains only – no tarping
- Deliver safely and on time to customers across the US
- Handle paperwork and communicate with dispatch as needed
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of experience with tractor-trailer combinations of 48/53 ft
- Minimum 6 months flatbed or Conestoga experience strongly preferred
- Experience hauling steel or oversized freight strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA safety standards
Compliance Requirements
- Possess a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets safety and insurance standards, with no disqualifying violations in the past 36 months as determined by company policy and applicable regulations*
- Disqualifying violations may include but are not limited to: driving under the influence (DUI), reckless driving, license suspension for traffic-related offenses, and repeated moving violations that indicate a pattern of unsafe driving behavior. Each applicant’s record will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility.
- Compliance with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, including a clear record with no violations prohibiting operation of a commercial motor vehicle**
- Requires a pre-employment query showing no active violations, such as positive drug or alcohol test results, refusal to test, or other unresolved violations. Applicants must consent to both pre-employment and ongoing Clearinghouse queries as required by law.
