Responsibilities
- Haul steel and industrial products across regional routes
- Secure loads with straps and chains only — no tarping!
- Deliver safely and on time to customers across the US
- Handle paperwork and communicate with dispatch as needed
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of experience with tractor-trailer combinations of 48/53 ft
- Minimum 6 months flatbed or Conestoga experience strongly preferred
- Experience hauling steel or oversized freight strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT/FMSCA safety standards
Compliance Requirements
Possess a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets safety and insurance standards, with no disqualifying violations in the past 36 months as determined by company policy and applicable regulations.
Compliance with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, including a clear record with no violations prohibiting operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
Note: Disqualifying violations may include but are not limited to: driving under the influence (DUI), reckless driving, license suspension for traffic-related offenses, and repeated moving violations that indicate a pattern of unsafe driving behavior. Each applicant’s record will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility.
