CDL A and B Drivers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Pack, transport, and properly dispose of waste material in accordance with environmentally responsible policies and procedures.
• Schedule shipments into or off-site.
• Pickup and drop off loaded and empty roll-off boxes using a tractor trailer.
• Perform End Dump and Tanker work as needed.
• Perform van trailer work as needed.
• Perform warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials.
• Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions, and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment.
• Perform various regulatory compliance and safety tasks, including pre-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting all losses, spills, accidents, and safety violations to supervisor immediately, and resolving leaking containers or containers in non-DOT shippable condition.
• Contact internal and external personnel on a regular basis to promote and collect waste containers.

Qualifications:

• Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required. Must be at least 21 years old. Hazmat endorsement required. 2+ years of similar driving experience. Must be able to drive a manual transmission (no restrictions).
• Preferred Qualifications: Tanker and Airbrake endorsements (if not obtained, they will be obtained at company expense as a condition of employment). Successful candidate must pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
