CCT EMT - Located in Arvada, CO

Responsibilities

• Safe driving of the Critical Care ground ambulance (CCT) and maintenance.
• Aid the flight crew in patient care.
• Load and unload patients into the CCT ambulance and aircraft.
• Present to the public for awareness.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings.
• Participate in projects to meet program goals.
• Complete equipment and orientation checklists.
• Check in with dispatch and flight crew.
• Ensure the ambulance is ready for transport.
• Communicate with dispatch during transport requests.
• Assist with patient assessments and preparations.
• Load and unload patients and equipment safely.
• Report to the next shift.
• Delegate emergency procedures and medications.
• Engage in community programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Colorado State EMT and CPR certificates.
• CO IV Certification.
• Valid drivers license for at least 2 years.
• 6 months of ambulance driving experience (preferred).
• Free of clinical/corrective action.

Qualifications

• Understanding of CAMTS accreditation and rules.
• Clean up and restock after transport.
