Responsibilities
- Safe driving of the Critical Care ground ambulance (CCT) and maintenance.
- Aid the flight crew in patient care.
- Load and unload patients into the CCT ambulance and aircraft.
- Present to the public for awareness.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings.
- Participate in projects to meet program goals.
- Complete equipment and orientation checklists.
- Check in with dispatch and flight crew.
- Ensure the ambulance is ready for transport.
- Communicate with dispatch during transport requests.
- Assist with patient assessments and preparations.
- Load and unload patients and equipment safely.
- Report to the next shift.
- Delegate emergency procedures and medications.
- Engage in community programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Colorado State EMT and CPR certificates.
- CO IV Certification.
- Valid drivers license for at least 2 years.
- 6 months of ambulance driving experience (preferred).
- Free of clinical/corrective action.
Qualifications
- Understanding of CAMTS accreditation and rules.
- Clean up and restock after transport.
