CCP Sr. Group Leader - Setup- 1st Shift

Position Description

This is an indirect hourly position reporting directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating plant wide activities, hour to hour, with other group leaders to insure a steady flow of product through the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Insure bottleneck area properly manned.
• Sequencing orders to minimize setup time.
• Work with Sales and Drafting to insure quality levels and Production schedules are maintained.
• Must have extensive knowledge of product design and specification.
• Must know order entry system.
• Very knowledgeable of shop floor control and manufacturing processes and procedures.
• May prepare and maintain various reports as assigned by Production Supervisor.
• Will act as Production Supervisor in their absence.
• Maintain safe working environment and good housekeeping practices.

Required Education & Qualifications

• PC Proficiency
• Flexible
• Result oriented
• Strong Organizational skills
• HS diploma and/or GED required. AA/AS degree: a plus or a minimum 5 years in production.
