About the role
Provide quality support services to Childcare Partners to improve the quality of services. Monitor and report on the programmatic area of the Head Start / Early Head Start grants, ensuring adherence to governmental and educational standards.
Responsibilities
- Work with Head Start/Early Head Start support staff to monitor program quality and compliance using Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC/APPLE Criteria, Florida Department of Children and Families Regulations, and Program Assessment Tools.
- Conduct regular monitoring of staff files, child files, and substitute teacher files to ensure all time frames are met.
- Monitor classroom, playground, kitchen, and common space environments for compliance; document findings in Child Plus.
- Ensure compliance with Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards and Department of Children and Families’ Childcare Regulations for medication administration and other health and safety initiatives.
- Support recruitment of center-based staff and assist with training new teachers and assistant teachers.
- Assist with reports and maintain accurate data in Child Plus; monitor Program Information Report (PIR) for accuracy.
- Monitor Contract Compliance to ensure all Head Start Performance Standards and ECS policies are followed.
- Ensure Childcare Partners (CCPs) follow educational services, guide curriculum, program planning, and training development.
- Conduct a minimum of 3 in-person CCP meetings.
- Foster a working atmosphere that encourages creative thinking, positive attitudes, teamwork, and dedication to ECS’s mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Health Administration, Social Work, or related field.
- 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Complete 15 training hours each fiscal year (July-June).
- Pass a Level II Background Screening (local, state, and federal criminal check).

Pay
$26.61 per hour.
Schedule
- Full-time.
- Primarily office and center-based settings with local travel to multiple sites required.
- Minimal night, weekend, or out-of-town work possible.
