CCHS Tigers Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize the daily Athletic Trainer functions with the District Athletic Director and coaches at each high school.
• Complete all reporting requirements of the CCPS District.
• Review student physicals and releases to ensure authenticity.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Requirements

• A graduate of an NATA approved 4 year Bachelors degree for athletic training or equivalent field of study.
• A current applicable license of practice and certified in the NATABOC.
• A valid driver's license.
• A current first aid certification and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Meet the schools professional, clinical, technical, communication and documentation requirements and standards.
• Make decisions based on established National Athletic Trainers (NATA) guidelines.
