Assistant or Associate Professor, non-tenure earning clinical track position. Academic responsibilities include teaching family medicine residents and medical students, patient care and scholarly activity, and focusing on neurology in an Inpatient Medicine setting.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. and Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology required
• Candidates must meet Alabama medical licensure requirements and complete licensure within the state prior to start date

Qualifications

• Preference to candidates with both ambulatory and inpatient neurological treatment
• Track record of scholarship, focusing on learning and teaching in a health professions or medical school environment
• Collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit
• Desire to work in multidisciplinary and inter-professional teams
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
