Assistant/Associate or Professor of Clinical Neurology

About the role
The Department of Neurology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California seeks a full-time Neurologist with subspecialty training in Epilepsy. As an epileptologist you would become part of the USC Comprehensive Epilepsy Program, which is a Level IV Epilepsy Center. Our epilepsy program serves as a tertiary referral center for an extended network of hospitals in Southern and Central California, and a leader amongst epilepsy centers in the region through our USC Epilepsy Care Consortium.
Responsibilities
- Direct in-patient and out-patient care specific to epilepsy and epilepsy surgery
- Continuous bedside video/EEG monitoring of patients in the EMU and ICU
- Dedicated to training fellows, residents, and medical students at Keck School of Medicine
- Ambitious opportunities for translational research in the affiliated USC Neurorestoration Center
Requirements
- Candidate must be Board eligible/certified in Neurology
- Completed fellowship training in Epilepsy
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of California

Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $220,000-240,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
