CCBHC Community Support Team (CST) Clinical Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Oversight: Reviews and authorizes IM+CANS assessments and treatment plans, ensuring medical necessity and compliance with Medicaid, CST requirements, and CCBHC standards. Maintains quality and quantity of services, and participates in planning for client service needs.
  • Staff Supervision: Cultivates a positive, collaborative team culture, leads daily team huddles and weekly team meetings, provides and documents direct clinical supervision, and identifies potential for program staff.
  • Case Consultation: Serves as a primary thought partner for complex cases, crisis response, and mandated reporting decisions. Provides on-call clinical consultation for mobile crisis responses and stabilization efforts.
  • Program Coordination: Monitors team caseloads, ensures appropriate staff-to-client ratios, assists with scheduling, manages daily operations, and coordinates care with family members, internal providers, and external partners.
  • Client Care & Clinical Services: Provides direct services, conducts person-centered assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, diagnoses and treats behavioral health conditions, and coordinates care with family members, internal providers, and external partners.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensures fidelity to evidence-based models and compliance with documentation standards, billing requirements, organizational policies, and regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Community Engagement: Develops and maintains partnerships with local providers and community groups to facilitate client referrals and linkages. Works effectively with diverse staff and service population.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited college or university, required.
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, required.
  • Proficiency in IM-CANS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) and knowledge of ASAM criteria, required.
  • Prior experience with Rule 132/140 or CST/ACT models strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of post-graduate counseling or social work experience with increasing levels of responsibility, preferred.

Skills

Demonstrated superior skills with families or communities. Demonstrated competence in consultation, teaching, and writing. Ability to work in the community with assigned caseload. Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
