CBA Quality Assurance Representative - Aircraft Mechanic III (P-8) - NTWP - Pt Mugu, CA

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of aircraft maintenance experience as an aircraft quality assurance representative/specialist in naval aviation (E-6), or civil service (WG-10), or Government aviation maintenance Contractor inspector.
• Minimum of ten years (performed within the last 15 years) of experience performing repairs of high-performance aircraft.
• At least three years specific T/M required aircraft experience at the O-Level in the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain. (P-8)

Skills

• Thorough knowledge of flight line operations.
• Knowledge of NAVAIRINST 3710.1 (series) and CNAFINST 4790.2 (series).
• Ability to perform inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems assemblies and engines using general and special test equipment.
• Ability to monitor maintenance procedures and systems checkouts and authorize inspections of safety of flight related maintenance actions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Government quality verification personnel.
• Ability to instruct and assist in training of lower level employees in proper work methods and performance of their job duties.
• Ability to work with other groups or personnel to resolve problems.
