CBA - Librarian Tech (VX20)

Responsibilities

Aid librarians by assisting readers in locating books and other materials using library catalogs, databases, and indexes; and answer questions requiring only brief consultations of standard reference materials.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent
• Technical Data Managers courses C-555-0007
• Experience assisting more senior positions or performing functional duties in technical publication libraries
• Knowledge of technical library procedures and policies
• Knowledge of technical directives (TD's), Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command (NATEC), and Technical Publication Deficiency Report Program (TPDR's)
• Three (3) years' experience assisting more senior positions, and/or performing functional duties
• Knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 (series)

Physical Requirements / Working Environment

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Works in a normal office in a hanger environment

Pay and Benefits

• Maryland Salary Range: USD $36.31
• Union Flex Benefit Credit: USD $3.00/HR
• Opt-Out Health Credit (must have your own coverage): USD $3.15/HR
